2017年2月20日,捷克科技大学Stanislav Zvanovec教授应徐正元教授邀请做了一场题为“All-Optical Relay-Assisted Free Space Optical Systems ”的学术报告。报告会由金显庆教授主持,共50余名师生参加。此次报告会得到了“中科院无线光电通信重点实验室系列讲座”的支持,由中科大信息科学技术学院、中科院无线光电通信重点实验室承办。

在报告中,Stanislav Zvanovec教授首先指出自由空间光通信(FSO)具有高带宽,不受电磁干扰,波束窄方向性好等优势,可解决目前传统无线通信中频带拥挤等问题。但他也指出自由空间光通信性能受大气湍流影响严重。随后,Stanislav Zvanovec教授介绍了AF(amplify-and-forward)和DF(decode-and-forward)两种中继支持的FSO链路以抵抗大气衰落。最后,Stanislav Zvanovec教授演示了一个在湍流环境下实现的10Gbps的FSO通信系统。报告结束后,Stanislav Zvanovec教授与在座的老师和同学们进行了深入的交流,达到了学术交流迸发思想的目的。

报告人介绍:
Stanislav Zvanovec received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor and the Vice Head with the Department of Electromagnetic Field, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU. He leads the Free-Space and Fiber Optics Team, CTU, and was the Vice Chair of WG1 of EU COST Project IC1101 OPTICWISE—Optical Wireless Communications—An Emerging Technology. His current research interests include wireless optical communications, visible light communications, and optical fiber sensors.
