无线光通信国际会议
2017年7月1~3日，北京友谊宾馆（北京中关村南大街1号）

　　为了推动无线光通信在学术界与工业界的发展，谨代表会议主办方诚挚地邀请您参加2017年7月1-3日在北京友谊宾馆举办的无线光通信国际会议（International Conference on Optical Wireless Communications），与该领域的国内外知名学者/专家共同研讨无线光通信技术与应用的现状与未来发展趋势。

自从2013年6月20日在北京举办了上一届会议以来，全球无线光通信（OWC）取得了可喜的进展，得到了业界的广泛关注，促使主办方再次组织该类会议，希望有助于科研成果的交流与信息共享。

　　该会议由清华信息科学与技术国家实验室（筹）和宽光谱无线光通信领域的国家重点基础研究发展计划（973计划）项目资助，7月1日大会报到，7月2至3日进行近三十个技术报告与讨论，从材料器件到通信、定位、系统、网络与标准，同时涵盖室内与室外路基、天空、深空、水下与数据中心等应用，如可见光通信、成像通信、定位、车载通信、大气散射通信、自由空间光通信等。

International Conference on Optical Wireless Communications

　　To promote the progress of optical wireless communications in both academia and industry, you are cordially invited to attend the International Conference on Optical Wireless Communications (OWC) to be held on July 1-3, 2017 in Beijing, and take this opportunity to discuss with international and national experts in the same field about current state of OWC techniques and applications, and its trend for future development.

　　Since the last conference in Beijing on June 20, 2013 co-chaired by us, there have been numerous exciting activities and progresses on Optical Wireless Communications (OWC) globally, including various different-scale symposia and workshops, standardizations, industry-university associations, and emerging applications. In particular, large-scale LED industries and OWC applications in China motivate us to organize another such conference, to promote exchange and sharing of research results and progresses.

　　Sponsored by the Tsinghua National Laboratory for Information Science and Technology and the only National Key Basic Research Program (973) of China on Broad Spectrum OWC, the conference is scheduled to span July 1-3, 2017 in Beijing. Registration takes place on July 1 (Saturday). The technical program starting from July 2 consists of more than 30 invited talks and panel sessions on OWC, from materials and devices to communications, positioning, systems, networks, and standardizations. It also covers applications in indoor, outdoor terrestrial, air, space, underwater, and data center, such as visible light communications, image sensor communications, positioning, vehicular communications, ultraviolet communications, and free space optical communications.

　　The language for presentation and discussion is English. No registration fee is required. As the number of conference seats is limited to 200 for worldwide attendees, please fill the form in the attachment (please click to download) and return zxs125@mail.ustc.edu.cn at your earliest convenience if you are willing to attend the OWC conference. The information you provide will be used to reserve seats, and prepare conference badge and free lunch.
