2016年6月14日,清华大学高飞飞教授应徐正元教授邀请做了一场题为“Low-Cost Low-Rank Channel Estimation for TDD/FDD Massive MIMO Systems---A Unified Approach via Array Signal Processing”的学术报告。报告会由龚晨教授主持,共50余名师生参加。此次报告会得到了“中科院无线光电通信重点实验室系列讲座”的支持,由中科大信息科学技术学院、中科院无线光电通信重点实验室承办。

在报告中,高飞飞教授首先介绍了5G通信中超大规模MIMO的优势及需要解决的难题。随着用户数目的增多,针对现有信道估计方法中存在的导频污染、计算复杂度高等问题,高飞飞教授提出了一种基于阵列信号处理,利用角度互易对矩阵降秩进行信道估计的方法,称为空间扩张基础模型(SBEM)。随后,高飞飞教授分别从上行和下行链路对SBEM的稀疏机制,利用空间正交波束进行信道估计的原理等进行了详细介绍,并与现有降秩方法进行对比,说明了该方法在TDD/FDD超大规模MIMO系统中的适用性。报告结束后,高飞飞教授与在座的老师和同学们进行了深入的交流,达到了学术交流迸发思想的目的。

报告人介绍:
Feifei Gao is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His research areas include communication theory, signal processing for communications, array signal processing, and convex optimizations, with particular interests in MIMO techniques, multi-carrier communications, cooperative communication, and cognitive radio networks. He has authored/coauthored more than 80 refereed IEEE journal papers and more than 110 IEEE conference proceeding papers, which have been cited more than 3500 times from Google Scholar. Prof. Gao has served as an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters. He has also served as the symposium co-chair for 2015 IEEE Conference on Communications (ICC), 2014 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), and 2014 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference Fall (VTC).
