2017年12月26日,电子科技大学袁晓军教授应徐正元教授邀请做了一场题为“Blind Signal Detection in Sparse Massive MIMO channels”的学术报告。报告会由龚晨教授主持,共50余名师生参加。此次报告会得到了“中科院无线光电通信重点实验室系列讲座”的支持,由中科大信息科学技术学院、中科院无线光电通信重点实验室承办。
在报告中,袁晓军教授首先指出在实际超大规模MIMO系统中,很大一部分系统资源被用于获取信道状态信息(CSI),与理想情况相比,这导致系统容量大大降低。随后,袁晓军教授表明在特定变换域中,超大规模MIMO信道的稀疏性能为CSI的获取带来很大的增益补偿。由此提出了一种新颖的盲检测方案,即通过将接收到的信号矩阵在角域进行分解来估计信道和数据。在信道足够稀疏的情况下,这种方案通过对信道稀疏性的利用,几乎可以达到理想目标。报告结束后,袁晓军教授与在座的老师和同学们进行了深入的交流,达到了学术交流迸发思想的目的。
报告人介绍:
Xiaojun Yuan (S’04-M’09-SM’15) received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, he was a research fellow at the Department of Electronic Engineering, the City University of Hong Kong. He was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering, the University of Hawaii at Manoa in spring and summer 2009, as well as in the same period of 2010. From 2011 to 2014, he was a research assistant professor with the Institute of Network Coding, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2014 to 2017, he was an assistant professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University. He is now a professor with the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Communications, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
His research interests cover a broad range of wireless communications, statistical signal processing, and information theory including multi-antenna techniques, network coding, cooperative communications, compressed sensing, etc. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed research papers in the leading international journals and conferences, and has served on a number of technical programs for international conferences. He is an editor of the IEEE Transactions on Communications. He was a co-recipient of the Best Paper Award of IEEE ICC 2014.
